Many in the insurance sector are struggling to achieve the level of data usage that would keep them on par with the rest of the financial services industry. Often bogged down with trying to manage the vast amounts of data they receive, they spend millions on technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning to assist with the process.
But renowned digital strategy and data analytics expert Dr Henna Karna believes this approach needs to be turned on its head.
